Date ranges
Analyze any time period, not just the predefined ones
Most grids in Adalysis let you choose a predefined date range, e.g. Last 30 days, or set your own custom range.
Choosing a custom date range
Open the date range dropdown and select Custom range… at the bottom of the list.
Pick your start date in the From calendar and your end date in the To calendar.
Click Apply.
The dropdown now shows your chosen dates, e.g. Mar 01 – Mar 15, 2026.
Adalysis downloads data for a custom range when you request it, so the first load can take a little longer than a predefined range.
Limits
A custom range can start up to 36 months ago. Use All time for older data.
A custom range can be up to 1,097 days (3 years) long.
The RSA manager supports custom ranges of up to 366 days.
Comparing periods
On Performance > Overview, you can compare a custom range against the Previous period (the same number of days just before it) or the Previous year (the same dates a year earlier).
Click View root cause analysis to open the Performance Analyzer with the same custom dates.
Where custom date ranges are available
Performance > Overview
Manage > Campaigns (including the performance and hour-of-week popups on Settings)
Manage > Ad groups
Manage > Ads > Text ads, RSA manager and Image ads
Manage > Keywords
Manage > Product groups
Manage > Conversions
Manage > PMax > Asset groups, Assets and Channels
Segments: location, hour of week, ad schedule, device, audience, age, gender, parental, income, user location and networks
The Performance Analyzer has its own Custom option for choosing both time periods.
Your choice is remembered in your browser on the Campaigns, Ad groups, Text ads, Image ads, Keywords, Product groups, Conversions and Segments screens.
Saved filters and alerts use predefined date ranges only. If you want to save a filter or enable alerts, choose a predefined range such as Last 30 days first.
If a colleague views a different custom range on the same account at the same time, Adalysis may ask you to refresh the grid before you export or make bulk changes. This makes sure you're working with the data you can see.
