Product updates in July – September 2026

August 5

Analyze and manage AI Max search terms

A new AI Max screen is now available under Manage > Search terms. It shows the data you need to evaluate how AI Max is performing across your campaigns. You can also take key actions directly from the same view.

Search terms overlap

Compare the performance for overlapping AI Max and non-AI Max search terms to understand if AI Max is adding value.

  • View links within the table: See performance data for individual overlaps.

  • Search terms overlap button: Switch between account, campaign, and ad group data. The comparison links show performance data for the overlapping terms vs all search terms.

Each row also has an Ad combination icon showing the headline and landing page for each search term, regardless of whether Google or you chose the page.

Analyze n-grams for AI Max

Adalysis supports AI Max n-grams at the account and campaign level.

Add AI Max search terms as keywords or negatives

Select one or more search terms and add them as negative keywords or as keywords in a new or an existing ad group. This works in the same way as Search and PMax search terms.

Enable or disable AI Max for ad groups in bulk

Under Manage > Ad groups, you can update your AI Max settings for one or more ad groups.

Manage > Campaign > Settings shows your AI Max settings by campaign, including text customization and URL expansion.

Build more flexible alerts with parent metrics and formulas

Adalysis filters now support additional metrics and formulas, giving you more control over how you create rules and alerts.

Filters can now refer to metrics from a parent entity. For example, you can create a keyword alert based on metric values of the keyword's parent ad group or campaign. You can also apply a multiplier to the selected metric.

When you select a performance metric in a filter, you'll now see an option to build a formula using parent metrics and a multiplier. This allows you to create more relative, comprehensive, and accurate alerts to fit your requirements.

The same filter options are available on all other screens.

Where to set up alerts and rules

As a reminder, you can configure alerts in two places:

  1. Directly from the relevant entity screen, e.g. the Filters button on the Keywords screen for keyword alerts (as shown above)

  2. The Custom audit settings screen

Stay tuned for more filter enhancements, including support for target CPA and ROAS.

Create custom alerts for PMax asset groups and assets

You can now create filters and alerts for PMax asset groups and assets. These options are available through the Filters button on those screens or via Custom audit settings (as shown above).

AI explanations for Performance Analyzer

The Performance Analyzer now includes an Explain with AI button. It summarizes the flow chart for your comparison criteria, so you don't have to piece together what's changed on your own.

Want a closer look at a specific metric? Click the icon next to any individual metric to get an explanation of what changed and why.

Asset source data in the RSA manager

The RSA manager now shows the source of each asset: advertiser or automatically created. This means you can easily assess how Google's auto-created assets are performing.

You can also filter your RSA assets by source for quicker comparisons. Save the filter with enabled alerts to receive a notification when your conditions are met. Alternatively, you can create a custom alert to monitor the automatically created assets.

RSA asset testing is now supported in Adalysis

We've updated our multi ad group testing framework to support testing your RSA assets against each other.

You can now compare RSA performance data from the Adalysis RSA manager to see any statistically significant performance differences. For more information, please check this guide.
