# Q3 2026

## August 18

### Manage and build rules using the campaign's target CPA and target ROAS

Under **Manage** > **Campaign** > **Settings**, you can see an overview of all your bid strategies together with their target CPA/ROAS (if defined).&#x20;

In addition to being able to see the targets, we made two more enhancements:

* If the campaign's bidding strategy doesn't support defining a target, you can define a local target within Adalysis only (the **reference target**). The reference target is not pushed to Google Ads.
* All targets (defined in Google, or reference targets) can now be used in the filters to build rules and custom alerts.

#### Viewing/defining your targets

In the example below, two campaigns have targets set in Google Ads (in the **Bid strategy** column). You can define reference targets for the remaining campaigns (in the **Reference** columns).

{% hint style="info" %}
Adalysis doesn't push reference targets to Google or use them to make any automatic changes.
{% endhint %}

#### Using the targets to build rules/alerts

You can now include your CPA or ROAS targets in filters across Adalysis.

<figure><img src="/files/1AuOLW0hCTZavzOOEV5T" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
Once you've built this filter, you can save it and enable its alerts.
{% endhint %}

### Custom budget schedules now support pacing-only budgets

When creating a custom schedule for a budget with a fixed time period, you can now choose between budget pacing and allocation.

* **Pacing** (new): tracks your spend without making changes
* **Allocation** (unchanged): also manages your daily budget adjustments

### View & exclude automatically selected landing pages

We've updated the landing page tools to analyze the URLs Google selects automatically in **PMax, AI Max,** and **DSA** campaigns.

Go to **Manage** > **Landing pages** and choose:

* **Final URLs** to analyze the landing pages you defined in your ads/keywords&#x20;
* **Automatic** to analyze the landing pages automatically selected by Google

Use the new **Automatic** screen to analyze and exclude underperforming URLs to stop Google from using them again in the future.

<figure><img src="/files/owmdvk29gCQRCXibufMY" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Easier account switching and consolidated billing

We've updated the account overview navigation to make it easier to move between your Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts.

<figure><img src="/files/2R7qA7DqxvxzTdaBpN5J" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If you use Adalysis with multiple email addresses, there's now a faster way to combine and switch between your Adalysis accounts:

### Analyze and manage AI Max search terms

A new **AI Max** screen is now available under **Manage** > **Search terms**. It shows the data you need to evaluate how AI Max is performing across your campaigns. You can also take key actions directly from the same view.

#### Search terms overlap

Compare the performance for overlapping AI Max and non-AI Max search terms to understand if AI Max is adding value.

<figure><img src="/files/nSFDRUIAGlZhAxvFOvJt" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **View links within the table:** See performance data for individual overlaps.
* **Search terms overlap button:** Switch between account, campaign, and ad group data. The comparison links show performance data for the overlapping terms vs all search terms.

<figure><img src="/files/8x5VMlRZQ4yIoGVkJOPK" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Each row also has an **Ad combination** icon showing the headline and landing page for each search term, regardless of whether Google or you chose the page.

<figure><img src="/files/GbJcXXjiU0NvQGrIcOdD" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Analyze n-grams for AI Max

Adalysis supports AI Max [n-grams](/manage/search-terms/tutorial-n-gram-analysis.md) at the account and campaign level.

<figure><img src="/files/tRGT9t9cqTpJPg4YYkRp" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Add AI Max search terms as keywords or negatives

Select one or more search terms and add them as negative keywords or as keywords in a new or an existing ad group. This works in the same way as Search and PMax search terms.

<figure><img src="/files/Ib6x7ZuM5WNFyA7GbKM8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Enable or disable AI Max for ad groups in bulk**

Under **Manage** > **Ad groups**, you can update your **AI Max settings** for one or more ad groups.

<figure><img src="/files/TyAnmpdVcet7VfKRvSHz" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Manage** > **Campaign** > **Settings** shows your AI Max settings by campaign, including text customization and URL expansion.
{% endhint %}

## July 28

### Build more flexible alerts with parent metrics and formulas

Adalysis filters now support additional metrics and formulas, giving you more control over how you create rules and alerts.

Filters can now refer to metrics from a parent entity. For example, you can create a keyword alert based on metric values of the keyword's parent ad group or campaign. You can also apply a multiplier to the selected metric.

<figure><img src="/files/MZ3tilWXDrnKVgn2LSxF" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

When you select a performance metric in a filter, you'll now see an option to build a formula using parent metrics and a multiplier. This allows you to create more relative, comprehensive, and accurate alerts to fit your requirements.

The same filter options are available on all other screens.

#### Where to set up alerts and rules

As a reminder, you can configure alerts in two places:

1. Directly from the relevant entity screen, e.g. the **Filters** button on the **Keywords** screen for keyword alerts (as shown above)&#x20;
2. The **Custom audit settings** screen

<figure><img src="/files/vCEd8IUqqZHzM2tvo2E6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Stay tuned for more filter enhancements, including support for target CPA and ROAS.

### Create custom alerts for PMax asset groups and assets

You can now create filters and alerts for PMax asset groups and assets. These options are available through the **Filters** button on those screens or via **Custom audit settings** (as shown above).

## July 20

### AI explanations for Performance Analyzer

The Performance Analyzer now includes an **Explain with AI** button. It summarizes the flow chart for your comparison criteria, so you don't have to piece together what's changed on your own.

<figure><img src="/files/2r04holsW2e4FiS1Rl5T" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Want a closer look at a specific metric? Click the icon next to any individual metric to get an explanation of what changed and why.

<figure><img src="/files/WWRkW8Z3DLZKwqL1zhyI" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Asset source data in the RSA manager

The RSA manager now shows the source of each asset: advertiser or automatically created. This means you can easily assess how Google's auto-created assets are performing.

<figure><img src="/files/rSZmqq4yeHU9ZhtbE7Vu" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can also filter your RSA assets by source for quicker comparisons. Save the filter with enabled alerts to receive a notification when your conditions are met. Alternatively, you can [create a custom alert](/tools/audit/how-to-create-custom-alerts.md) to monitor the automatically created assets.

<figure><img src="/files/hFRdSUTSJA5xcjjv2D36" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="/files/IQAX46U8eVxfe7HebvFD" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### RSA asset testing is now supported in Adalysis

We've updated our multi ad group testing framework to support testing your RSA assets against each other. &#x20;

You can now compare RSA performance data from the **Adalysis RSA manager** to see any statistically significant performance differences. For more information, please check [this guide](/tools/ad-testing/multi-ad-group-testing/testing-rsa-assets.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.adalysis.com/product/product-updates/q3-2026.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
