# Daily stop

Automatically pause campaigns that pass their daily budget limit

For some accounts, you may wish to pause a campaign once it spends its daily budget. This isn't easy to manage in Google Ads since Google can overspend the daily budget by up to 100%.

The **daily stop** tool monitors campaign spend twice an hour and pauses it once it exceeds its daily budget. The campaign is then re-enabled the next day, shortly after midnight (in the time zone of the account). For shared budgets, all active campaigns will be paused.
