Matched & targeted locations

Visualize location performance across sets of campaigns

While Google Ads only provides the matched location data at the campaign level only, Adalysis also aggregates it across the account.

Matched locations (heatmap)

Zoom into specific campaigns, date ranges or location categories as follows:

  1. Choose which campaigns and campaign types to analyze.

  1. Select your preferred date range.

  2. View your breakdown by location size.

Additional settings are available to customize how the heatmap is rendered:

Matched locations (grid)

The grid shows the matched location performance aggregated across the whole account. You're able to filter by performance using the Filters dropdown.

Click View to see the performance breakdown by campaign and have the ability to target or exclude the location at the campaign level.

Targeted locations

You can make bid adjustments on the Targeted locations tab. Select your location(s) and click Set bid adj, or choose the pencil icon:

  1. View current bid adjustments and the date of the last change. Then click a graph icon for a before-and-after performance comparison.

  2. Red alerts indicate that the current bid adjustment isn't compatible with your bid strategy. Hover over an alert for more details.

  3. View aggregate performance for an overview.

  4. Recommended bid adjustments provide further insights for optimization.

  5. Filter by campaign type or your own criteria.

Excluded locations

View your Excluded locations to confirm which areas are being blocked from targeting.

Changing your targeted locations isn't supported by Adalysis. Please make any changes in Google Ads.
