# Create expanded DSAs

With Adalysis, you can easily create one or more expanded dynamic search ads — in multiple ad groups — at the same time. You can also reuse descriptions from existing ads, based on your preferred performance criteria.

Not only is this faster than a manual workflow, but it effectively identifies and prioritizes the best-performing copy from existing ads.

On the **Manage** > **Ad groups** screen, start by selecting your ad groups. [Ad group filters ](/onboarding/getting-started/account-organization/filters.md)make it easy to search for ad groups with specific criteria.

Then, choose **Create Expanded DSAs** from the **Tools** menu.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Choose your status

One new ad will be created in every selected ad group by default. If you want to create more than one, use the **+Add another** option.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Choose your ad copy

Provide the full ad text or leave fields blank to copy parts of an **existing ad of the same type** within the selected ad group(s). The Google limits are 30 characters per headline and 90 characters per description.

{% hint style="warning" %}
If Adalysis can't find an existing ad with the same type, no new ad will be created.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Choose your performance metric for copied ad elements

Check **Get the missing ad text...** to copy the text for blank fields from existing ads. This is based on your preferred performance metric (highest impressions, CTR or conversion rate, or lowest cost/conv.) You can also choose to copy ad text from paused ads.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Choose labels and pause existing ads

Choose automatic actions for existing and new ads, or skip this stage.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Create ads in selected ad groups

Click the button to create your ads.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}
