This guide shows you where to start and what to customize first. ## Audit {% embed url="" %} ### Customize your prebuilt alerts Adalysis offers over 100 prebuilt audit checks. Customizing their settings makes them more relevant and reduces unnecessary notifications. View your alerts under **Audit** > **Audit settings** and edit them under **Prebuilt**:
We recommend starting with the search terms audit checks under **Prebuilt** > **Search terms**, as these are the most important to customize. * Keyword suggestions from search terms * Negative keyword suggestions from search terms * Duplicate search terms Here’s how to customize the audit criteria:
You can change the defaults by updating the current figures, such as conversions. Select **+Add another** to add more criteria, like CPA or ROAS. {% hint style="success" %} Reviewing the default audit settings will help to ensure Adalysis matches your team's audit checklist exactly. You can also [disable](https://docs.adalysis.com/tools/audit/how-to-customize-prebuilt-alerts#disabling-unwanted-alerts) alerts as needed. {% endhint %} ### Create your own alerts If the condition you want to track isn't covered by our 100+ prebuilt audit alerts, you can create your own custom alerts under **Audit** > **Audit settings** > **Custom**.
### Enable auto-resolve settings Resolve straightforward alerts automatically and save valuable time by enabling the automatic actions within each audit alert definition.
Here are some popular automatic actions: * Automatically add highly converting search terms as keywords * Automatically add poorly converting search terms as negative keywords * Exclude underperforming display placements {% hint style="info" %} Once enabled, your **Auto changes log** tracks any changes made automatically by Adalysis. {% endhint %} ### Share customized settings across accounts **Apply your settings to other linked accounts** Whenever you customize an audit alert, you can apply the same changes to other accounts currently linked to Adalysis.
**Apply your settings to future accounts** To apply a customized audit setting to accounts you'll link in the future, save it as a **global setting** by checking the box below.
You can manage global settings under **Audit** > **Audit settings** > **Global**.
{% hint style="info" %} Explore the full [Adalysis audit section ](/tools/audit.md)in the help center. {% endhint %} ## Performance monitoring {% embed url="" %} ### Create your own performance monitors **Performance monitors** help you track trends and spot significant changes without spreadsheets or scripts. We would strongly recommend customizing them for your account and campaigns. On the **Performance** view, click on the number in the **High priority** or **Standard priority performance monitors** column. Both types work in the same way, but the split lets you highlight your most important KPIs.
A performance monitor triggers a **performance alert** when the condition is met. The alerts will show up in the two columns next to the monitors.
Each new account has five standard monitors by default. You can customize them, add more or remove monitors as needed. When creating a new monitor, enter your own conditions or start with a **template**:
### Share monitors across accounts **Apply your monitors to other linked accounts** Whenever you create or customize a monitor, you can apply the same changes to other accounts currently linked to Adalysis.
**Apply your monitors to future accounts** To apply a monitor to accounts you'll link in the future, save it as a **global monitor** on the **Performance** view**:**

{% hint style="info" %} Adding a target budget won’t make any changes to your Google Ads campaigns. {% endhint %} You can also track the spend, pacing, and performance for sets of campaigns with [budget groups](/tools/budget/budget-groups.md). ### Auto manage The **Auto manage** tool reviews daily spend and recalculates the ideal daily budget values, based on your goals. This means no more manual monitoring or changes. You can enable the Auto manage tool when setting your target budget. Choose the most relevant **performance goal** for your account, and the **days of the week** when budget changes can be made. Then, update the **max budget adjustment** percentage before saving.
