# Geo heatmap

Adalysis visualizes your location data in meaningful, easy-to-interpret heatmaps. While Google Ads only provides location data at the campaign level, you now have additional options. Adalysis aggregates the data across the account.

Head to **Segments** > **Location**, where you can see three tabs:

### **Matched locations (Geo heatmap)**

This is how you can customize the heatmap:

1. Choose which campaigns and campaign types to analyze.

2. Select your preferred date range.
3. View your breakdown by location size.&#x20;

4. Choose between bubble size and color.
5. Show your data based on different metrics.

Click **Apply** when you've finished customizing your analysis.

You can also quickly compare the performance of all campaigns running in a given location with the **Campaign breakdown** at the end of the page. Then, target or exclude specific locations at the campaign level based on their performance. &#x20;

### Targeted locations

You can make bid adjustments on the **Targeted locations** tab. Select your location(s) and click **Set bid adj**, or choose the pencil icon:

1. View current bid adjustments and the date of the last change. Then click a graph icon for a before-and-after performance comparison, to see how effective the last bid adjustment was.
2. Red alerts indicate that the current bid adjustment isn't compatible with your bid strategy. Hover over an alert for more details.
3. **View aggregate performance** for an overview.
4. **Recommended bid adjustments** provide further insights for optimization.

### Excluded locations

View your **Excluded locations** to confirm which areas are being blocked from targeting.
