Track the KPIs that matter to you with performance monitors

PPC managers need to track big-picture trends and spot small errors. Adalysis performance monitors and alerts make this easy — no spreadsheets or scripts required.

Performance monitors track key metrics so you don't have to. Performance alerts let you know if a performance trend needs your attention.

You can create, edit, and delete your monitors in two places. This is also where you can see alerts once they've been triggered:

Some performance monitors will be active by default when you link an account to Adalysis. We recommend reviewing the default settings to ensure they're relevant to your account goals.

Creating a performance monitor

Step 1: Create a performance monitor

This screenshot is from the Performance monitors section on the Accounts overview screen. The same option can also be found under Audit > Monitors.

Step 2: Add monitoring condition

• Click Predefined monitors for a list of default monitors that you can customize.

• Review the monitoring scope and frequency.

• Choose from monitoring a time-based change or a threshold-based change.

• Decide whether you want to receive a notification (email or Slack) when the alert is triggered.

• Apply your monitor to multiple accounts at the same time if required.

• Add your monitor to a global settings template, so that it's automatically applied to any new accounts you link to Adalysis in the future.

When a performance alert is triggered, you'll see it on your Accounts overview and in the Audit > Monitors screen within an account. You'll also get an email/Slack notification if you choose to.

Analyzing the root causes of performance changes

For performance alerts comparing two date ranges, Adalysis helps you understand the 'why' behind the changes. You can see the root cause analysis from the performance alert itself (on your Accounts overview or under Audit > Monitors).

This link will activate the Performance Analyzer for a visualization of your performance data and how the metrics influence each other.

Managing performance monitors for all your accounts

Applying changes to multiple accounts is always an option in Adalysis. This means you only make updates once and apply them automatically to all relevant accounts.

Apply to other accounts

Select all the accounts you want to apply a new or updated monitor to, before saving your changes.

Use the global template to save monitors you want to add automatically to new accounts, linked to Adalysis in the future.
