Our customers tell us our budget tools are some of the most advanced yet easy to use budget management tools on the market today. We're continuing with our focus on making these tools even better.
Pacing alerts and actions tools are accessible within the Budgets > Track screen. To use them to monitor the pacing of groups of campaigns you will need to first define the campaign groups.
For customers who already use budget groups (in Budgets > Manage), and would like to define pacing alerts, we've now made it easy to copy the settings of these budget groups across to the Budgets > Track tool to be able to set up the pacing alerts in bulk.
You'll now see the following menu option in the Budgets > Track screen:
We've also now added the ability to bulk edit the pacing alerts settings in bulk in the Budgets > Target screen.
If you use the budget tools you will notice the improved pacing reporting and navigational improvements made to the tools that manage the budget allocation and automation (in Budgets > Manage screen).
Budget groups allow you to monitor and manage the budgets of multiple campaigns and/or shared budgets as one unit. They are similar to Google's concept of shared except they allow greater control over the budgets' reporting, pacing and allocation. They can be found under Budgets > manage > Budget groups.
They are typically used to report on pacing of a group of budgets as well as manage the pacing automatically. A common use case of budget groups in some accounts is to create one budget group for each campaign to be able to automate the budget changes daily to better manage the pacing.
We've now introduced new features to make the use of budget groups even easier:
For those customers who want to create multiple budget groups, one for each campaign, they can now do this easily in bulk by simply selecting those campaigns.
Creating a budget budget for a group of camapigns is now easier given the additional options available to find and select those campaigns
It's now also possible to export the budget group data to a csv file for external data analysis and processing.
If you've used the budget allocation or automation tools in Adalysis you've probably experienced the high accuracy of its projections and were able to make better informed decisions on your budget planning.
The tools use a lot of the historical data to work out their estimates for future spend. As such, these tools require at least 7 days of data to be able to project the future spend accurately. For new campaigns that were created less than 7 days ago, however, this posed a challenge.
We're now pleased to have added a workaround for this scenario. If your campaign is less than 7 days old, the tools will provide you with an option to override the budget allocation behavior as shown below:
This way, the budget will initially be split evenly until there is enough history for the algorithm to apply more time sensitive adjustments.
For customers with multiple Adalysis accounts, we've made it easier to switch between all your accounts using a new navigation at the top of the screen.
This change is applicable to customers who have various Google Ads accounts not linked under a common MCC account and who create a new Adalysis account for each separate email address used in Google Ads (p.s. there is no additional charge for having multiple Adalysis accounts).
We've added an additional alert to notify when Google suspends or cancels your Google Ads account for any reason. This new alert will appear under the Critical alerts section should it be triggered.
You can now view and exclude PMax placements in Manage > Placements > PMax. This includes site domains and impression counts for your PMax campaigns.
Currently, only impression data is available due to Google Ads limitations. While this means you can't assess placements based on conversions, you can still evaluate them for brand safety and contextual relevance. Check whether your ads appear on suitable domains or ones that may pose reputational risks.
Exclusions for Performance Max placements can only be applied at the account level, not at the campaign level.
