# Boost your quality score

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/hxFlf19hsEc>" %}

Managing your quality scores is key to running cost-effective Google Ads campaigns. Google Ads only provides scores at the keyword level, so many PPC managers rely on spreadsheets or scripts.

Adalysis cuts out manual work with impression-weighted insights at the account, campaign, ad group, and keyword level. This means you can prioritize and optimize your campaigns more efficiently.

Find your data under **Quality score** in the main menu, as well as on the overview screens.

### **Account quality score data**

<figure><img src="/files/UBY2G7iWR0rrrNg6evf1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Your account-level score is impression-weighted. It aggregates data from enabled keywords in enabled Search ad groups and campaigns.

You’ll also get impression-weighted scores for each quality score sub-factor, as well as recommendations on how to improve your account.

Click **View historical breakdown** to see how your score has developed over the last year.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important:** the quality score data and analysis are updated once a week within Adalysis.
{% endhint %}

### **Keyword quality scores**

Adalysis shows Google's keyword quality scores and their three sub-factors. The default metrics are impressions and keyword count, but you choose other key metrics for new perspectives on your data.

You can also click any sub-factor for more information. The screen will switch automatically to the **Manage** > **Keywords** view:

Click on an icon in the **Quality score history** column for insights into how your keyword quality score has developed over time.

<figure><img src="/files/dCxIjFOZhvd9BbwqfeWT" alt="" width="301"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="success" %}
**Important:** you can show/hide the quality score data with the toggle. You can also sort by any quality score column or apply a custom filter using any quality score criteria.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Want to amend an ad based on your analysis? Click on the name in the **Ad group** column and then switch to **Manage** > **Ads** > **Text ads**. The affected ads will be filtered for you automatically.
{% endhint %}

#### Alerts and filters

Adalysis offers prebuilt quality score alerts, which you can customize under **Audit** > **Audit settings** > **Prebuilt** > **Keywords**. You can also create [custom alerts](/tools/audit/how-to-create-custom-alerts.md) in **Audit settings** > **Custom**, based on a range of criteria. These criteria are also available for building your own filters.

### **Ad group quality scores**

Adalysis also provides an impression-weighted breakdown of ad group scores and sub-factors.

Click any sub-factor for more information. The screen will switch to **Manage** > **Ad groups**:

1. Adalysis calculates a **quality score priority** for each ad group. This is based on a proprietary formula combining the ad group's impression-weighted quality score and the cost data for 30 days. Ad groups that spend more will be given higher priority. The ad group with priority number one needs the most quality score improvement.
2. Impression-weighted **ad group quality scores** are based on 30 days of keyword impressions data. The score is a decimal value ranging from 1.0 to 10.0, and only enabled keywords in enabled ad groups are taken into account. Click the column header to order your ad groups by quality score, or use the filters to zoom in further.
3. **Weekly changes** and a **quality score history** allow you to see how your optimizations are helping your account to develop.
4. You can also see impression-weighted scores for each **quality score component**. This will help you identify what exactly needs to be worked on.

### Ad group score improvement priority

The **Quality score** screen also shows the top three ad groups in need of improvement. The priority number is based on a proprietary formula combining the ad group's impression-weighted quality score and the cost data for 30 days. Click **Analyze ad groups** to see the full list on the **Ad groups** screen.

### **Landing page quality score data**

<figure><img src="/files/sKj7Hkme6sR3LV9YBo2v" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Under **Manage** > [**Landing pages**](/manage/landing-pages/analyze-your-landing-pages.md), Adalysis also includes a breakdown of keyword ratings for the ‘landing page experience’ sub-factor. Again, this applies to enabled keywords in enabled ad groups and campaigns.

You can also see how many keywords have above-average, average, or below-average landing page experience scores. This will help you identify which landing pages need improving the most.
